Hi, I’m Sam!
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer (through the National Academy of Sports Medicine) who comes to strength training by way of a career in libraries. After numerous attempts at finding a fitness routine that felt right, I got into strength training and found something that fit. I see strength training as a way to both physically and mentally feel stronger; through strength training, I believe that individuals can lead a fuller, stronger, and more confident life.
Interested in working with beginners and long-time lifters, I believe that strength training is for everyone. Whether you’re looking to perfect your squat, aiming to establish a consistent routine, or just hoping to make it up and down the subway stairs with a little less achiness, strength training can help. I train with compassion and patience, and would be thrilled to help you achieve your strength and movement goals!
I’m based in Queens, New York, and offer 1:1 in-person training, virtual training (coming soon), and — for those who prefer to work out on their own — custom exercise programming. All bookings come with a free consultation so that I can learn more about your goals and what you hope to get out of strength training.
